As for things I did this week (and last week, I think I'm a bit behind on updates sorry!), there was a lot of the usual and a bit of the new included. Was overall, a nice varied week. And some groovy screenies were taken, my favourite was the Dynamis Xarc one. You will see what I mean when you read on.



Killed ourselves a Behemoth, and sorry for the ghey screenshot, forgot to take any without all the UI crap (which is a waste of time for the most part anyway as it doesnt even tell you what you really want to know). Gogo Thundercloud.


The next day made up for the crappy drops yesterday, 2 hides! Ka-ching!


So it's true! In the next version update you can totally change your race! I decided to become a Mithra, just cause theyre so purrrrfect.

Jokes, jokes. Why would I want to be a Mithra!? Elvaan's are the sexiest race by far...

If you look closely, Tzaellia is standing right in front of me, and I happened to swing my camera around at an odd angle and found myself with a tail >:D


Day six hundred Turtle, and counting... I still haven't seen any eggs drop off the NQ, I think it's a myth that SE made up so that people would actually come out and kill this thing, because lord knows it drops fuck all else. I do believe that Luciendar still needs it, as well as maybe Kattsy? I can't think of anyone else in WW that needs, I do think that Cheeks has it already, and that all the other monks already have the BB. I could be wrong though. One day !!!


We had a go at hunting sandworm last week, and managed to claim before anyone else and fight it, although we had to kite it around a bit until everyone was able to come out to gather. I really do hate the constant stream of campaign battles in the cities... Makes it soooo hard to get around in the past without that warp NPC. I think they should make it accessible all the time, even during battles.


Anyways.... We got warped to Serket's lair and fought a great fight, and slayed the scorpy well within the hour. It got a little hairy here and there, it is a LOT tougher than the lolSerket in the basement of Garliage Citadel. I remember the days I spent camping that biatch, 6 days in a row I camped and claimed, (this was against other social/event linkshells back on ifrit, before I joined the HNM scene) and not one ring dropped, and had TH2+ every time. On the sixth day, a V claw dropped, so I sold it and bought my Serket ring instead with some money I had saved up as well. Got it in the end!

Moar Turtles. No Eggs.


And more WOTG stuffs! Killed my first Dark Ixion (2nd for the linkshell) It was quite a tough fight, took us around 2 hours to take him down, but I put that down to inexperience at the fight, but we killed him pretty fast in the last 30%, once we were getting the hang of it. GREATS to umm... Weedeater for WAR gaiters, ummm Nyanoh? for Azoth, and I think Mattingly for Ixion Cloak. Drops got handed out when I was afk, so I'm not 100% about it. If I'm wrong, just post a comment and I'll update it soon^^ Nice drops though, just needed that cape... My BLM would have a coronary if I got that any time soon. Stupid NMs are a bitch to camp though, stupid thing runs through 12 zones before you catch it. Maybe one day ^^


I took a gamble and went on another Salvage run with Neeble's group, and I really actually enjoyed the run this time, I think the last time I went with them was an exception, I found out later that they always got jewed on that boss, and needed the morrigan bit that drops from it, so did a run just specially for the boss. We killed all NM's and ran out of time on the last boss, but got Neeble a shiny new Enlil's Gambison. Have only ever seen one of these drop before (mine hehe) good job and greats to Neeble!



Ahhh Tiamat. She loves the drama, this one. Another early morning pop, (evening for me) and we just didn't have enough people gathered to claim it, and hung around until RTU claimed, but they had such a hard time of it, I don't know if they have ever killed it before, but they wiped a few times, and had to get Exre LS in to come help them out. We actually managed to claim it at 4% but half the alliance went afk and we wiped >.<; /sigh/sigh. Oh well, next time hey. Was a bit exciting toward the end there, but I can't say it was the best 7 hours I have ever spent...



Dynamis - Xarcabard was a bit gimpy on drops, not even anything nice from SL, just coins. I love this picture though hehe so pretty. Grats boys on your new gears!


Hehe had to include this one, was too good to leave out. Zecilus decided to do a bit of exploring and ran out way too far and aggrod everything upstairs and we all wiped hehe. Better luck next time hon. Also we tried doing that fragment again, but it warped sooo fast... sooo ghey.


Salvage again with Neeble's group, a nice fun run.. With lots of shinies going to the floor. Grats! :3


I think I actually have all or almost all the 15's, but my Morrigan's pieces are with the NPC storage so I got another pair of pants. Go me.


Was mucking around in campaign battle on my PLD to get my level (was like 2000 short) and all of a sudden this dragon comes out of nowhere, Metzzo pointed it out and it startled me, but it turns out its an enemy Beastmaster's pet. Man... If I could call that sort of pet... I'd go level BST right now.

Why don't we get cool Wyvern pets??

Did some sky farming too, in preperation for Tuesday sky, normally I wouldn't post this as its not really that interesting, but Zec and Luci's lots were so bad I thought everyone deserved to see these epic fails. In the end, grats to Glacion(I think) for the stone! GL on your new panties.


Latest cloth achievements: Hit 88.6 Clothcraft and also attained Veteran status! So working on Guild points again, I have about 50k points toward my Tailor's Ring. Vury nice..


I do think this is the first time we have had the Aery completely to ourselves. And this is like 2nd window in too. Just amazing.


So amazing that we got to watch Fafnir eat breakfast too, poor guy never has a chance to even scratch himself every other day...


In the end we claimed it we noticed one of the JP shells running through the tree, so we killed it. Fun times. Everything went free lot and no one needed anything so I got 2x inventory -1. Great stuff.

Overall, a fun packed week, sorry for the late updates, I've been busy and working a bit more than usual, but hoping to have another, shorter update for you guys in a couple of days.

Vacation!

I have this week off work and its been soooo nice, just sleeping all day :)

I'm trying to be more productive than that though, I had some friends over the other day and I have been out shopping and doing random stuff, and tomorrow I'm heading out to visit my dad and my brother that live out in the country, and staying the night and coming back in the morning, then going out to lunch with my cousin. Then I will probably spend my last day relaxing, then back to work on monday. :( Having a mini-break is nice though, gives me time to de-stress from work and find the motivation to give a crap about it again! :P

Things I have fallen asleep in this week:


I made it to sky for once! Hardly ever happens as it is always earlier in the day, and a little too early for me. Killed some Ulli's and then went to fight Byakko.


I was outside main alliance for this one, and I threw a few cures out, but after a while I think the time just caught up to me and I fell asleep. I do hear that we fought 2 and went 1/2 on Haidates. Congrats to Cheeks.


More Einherjar! I love this event, it's so much fun. I have been working towards an Omega Ring and a Morgana's Choker. After that, I'll be saving up my ampoules when I get my War or Pld to 75 for things like Ritter Gorget etc.


Been levelling up cloth again, and hit 84! Only 4 more levels til I hit Veteran status. Am capping at 88 on Wamoura silk threads, and then at 90 on the Wamoura cloths. Then maybe Giant bird fletchings til 93 (yuck, but they are the only synth I can find that will lose me the least amount of gil and mats).


More einherjar! Just getting feathers toward Odin, I think we should be up for another one this week or next week. Funnest fight ever.


I finally organised my Rostrum pump run! Excitement. It took a little while to get everyone out there, and when we rocked up, there was another linkshell popping boots. They had about 5 pops to do, but I'm pretty sure they would have given up a lot sooner than that. While we watched, the wiped to their first one, and as we tried to help them, they mpk'd our whole alliance. Fun times. And then we took the 2nd run, and was really smooth, no hick ups and Eugene got some boots, congrats! Then we let them have the next one, and they were wiping again and as we were helping them, one of their members got sour and was shouting shit to us, and was so rude we decided to let them wipe. Then we stole their NM :P I got some free boots which was nice, I still have my pop item though I'm going to keep it for when we do another run and see if anyone needs. We did one more after that, as the other Linkshell left, and Congrats to Godyss on her boots too. We had to go camp behemoth after that, so sorry to Dungee and Zecilus, hopefully we can try again soon.



NQ Behemoth popped today, no good drops though.


Went camping for my Jelly ring again, and it popped with in about 20min of camping it, I think. Metzzo and I duo'd it easily on blm/rdm, thanks hun for the help. Nice ring for my 63 PLD :D


Omg Loquacious earring XD Thanks WW!! I didn't think I would get an earring for a long long time, as I can't make it to every limbus run, they are just a bit too early for me most of the time, unless I get an early night and get up super early in the morning. So thank you very very much!
Sold my insomnia earring too, gotta love rare/ex stuff!



Did some ZNMs, Dabtuls had a few pop items, and I think Weedeater had one too, did 2x Nuhn, and 1x Lamia. Grats to everyone on items !!

Another shiny update for my lovely readers, but this one is specially for you Luci, I wouldn't want you to die of boredom on us just yet!!

More fun stuff I did this week,


Camping Xolotl for Luciendar's B.kotes. No drop on this one, but Congrats on your next kill, getting the drop. See? My TH-10 really does work.


I went on a Salvage run with some members of Progeny, with Eugene and Notorious of WW. I can't say I really like the way they run it, its a lot different to what I'm used to, but each to their own right? Congrats to people on drops, and thanks for letting me come, it was fun! I still need to find myself a nice group to do this with again regularly.. Hard to find though as many are already full or go at the wrong times for me. Who knows, maybe we will end up making a morning Salvage group if we get enough morning people :) (I'm crossing my fingers) I don't know how I would go at leading a group though if I were to make one, you never know though, will have to wait and see :)


Adamantoise.. No egg today, sorry Luci. Didn't SS drops because well, there weren't any. Early morning turtles are my favourite kind of turtles ._.



Got mah sexy Storm fife! Gogo bard. This one gives +1 ballad in Assault and Salvage. Vury niiice. I know its only able to be used in these areas, but Ballad +1!! It's half a Gjallarhorn!! Right?? >.>;

Next item I'm working on is the Yigit piece from here, I think it's the turban. Then just need the rest of my points for my boots, I'm about half way, then need to do all the points for the pants in Leuojam Sanctum. Then done for Yigit set woot~



Did my first KS99 run... Oh my lord it took so long. We started at like, 3:30am my time and I wanted to come do a few as I had never done it before, and I stayed up about 3 hours before I went and passed out on my bed. Was really fun though, we did the Early bird gets the Wyrm one, its like a bit of a cross between Fafnir and Tiamat. I went BLM was a lot of fun. I died a few times being stupid with nuking but totally worth it XD



And here's the drop list for the ones I attended, mostly Siren's hairs for those that used orbs, and the odd sword or dragon heart, etc. Grats to those who got moneys and shinys, pity we didn't see any speed belts, but maybe next time :P

I forgots to screenshot Einherjar, we did a Tier 2 run and got the win, nothing interesting dropped though.


Went and recapped exp in Mount Zhayolm with Metzzo, and got a few Wamoura Cocoons for my crafting, and dinged into 82 Clothcraft.



Low manning Adamantoise is always fun, especially when we have lots of links. Who needs capped exp on bard anyway?


2nd time around we killed it good, forgot to screenshot again, but it didnt drop anything anyway so who cares really :3

This one took me a few days to write, as I started it then was away for a day or 2 entertaining friends. Had a great time, got a bit drunk and generally had fun. Who knew I had real friends haha. Love you guys!
