Seriously, omg I'm so sick I think I'm going to die. I have had the flu or a really really bad cold for a few days now, I can't seem to shake it. I had to have Thursday and Friday off and I missed my shift on Saturday as well because of it. I hate being sick so much, I get really really miserable when I'm unwell. Some people can be cheerful when their ill but not me. So sorry everyone that's had to put up with my bitching on FFXI because I'm feeling too meh to go out and do anything else :P Anyway.......... As for stuff I did recently, got some tasty screenies of fun stuff. The coolest thing by far was our first Odin kill. We did such a good job, everyone was pro and we kicked ass. Good stuff WW~!


Little things first: I finally got my Gallant Surcoat, *which I haven't been using~gogo Hauby* But always fun to finish up a full AF set, to put in storage when I don't need it.


And have been levelling Paladin with my little SP lately, Zecilus on RDM and Metzzo on SAM. Making parties is so much easier when you have a tank and a healer already.


Clothcraft 78~! Capped on Rainbow thread, and next I'm working on Rainbow cloth to 80 and Puk Fletchings to 82. After that, I guess I can try do Wamoura Silk until 88. .. Bit of a jump but 6 levels is not so bad. And I think Wamoura Cocoons are fairly cheap to buy. We shall see!


Ah, another unclaimed Tiamat. Unfortunately this one popped in the morning again before maintenance, and we lost it due to not enough people online. Next time !!


Mmmm Behemoth. Hides have gone up in price a bit since the ill-famed lottery dropping prices like bricks. Gil is nice though, fun times.


And one more, the next day. The day after this one, KB popped while I was sleeping, I woke up and ran out to watch this nab LS fight it, they dropped it 30 seconds before rage. I really want to see this one of these days lol. I'm such a sadist.

We killed Odin for the first time! It was sooo cool everyone did such a good job, no one messed up at all. It got a bit tricky at the end when it spammed its summons on the tanks when Odin was at like 2% But Omg so cool. And good drops too!

I got a new shiny this week, Yigit Gages! 2/5 Yigit set now, I'm working on my Storm Fife next, only around 7k more points to go on that I think, then will try for the Yigit item there too. I still need Yigit feet though... So going to watch out for some Lebros shouts while my Assault static is on vacation lol.


My first Tier 3 Einherjar! (I think. It should be the first, but I could be wrong. Maybe its the second. One of the two at least :\) Drops drops drops hmm.. Have only seen one abj. drop from Einherjar and it was a dodgy one, so it almost doesn't count.


Fun times in the Aery. I got to witness (and experience!) my first Spike Flail. Highpower LS managed in the end to kill it anyway, @5minutes before Rage went off. Hum...


Watching Nidhogg rape everyone was ultra fun. This is what gaming is all about! Watching big dragons eat people. My death was a sad side effect, but what would my blog be without weekly pictures of me laying dead in uncomfortable places?


Dynamis San d'Oria was good fun until after the boss where we wiped a few times. Sadly I had to leave early, so the drop list is incomplete, but I am told that we got a few more after I left: (not sure how right this is but close at least)

So we killed a lot of turtles this week. (as I am writing this we are up to day 8 turtle.. And it's getting earlier and earlier, meaning that when it pops, no one will be up to kill it and all my camping hours this week will have been wasted in vain. /sadface.)

Tier 2 clear again, more Therin Ichor mm... I'm up to about 7k now I think. Half way point! Which to get first though? My WHM would love Morgana's Choker (actually I have been lusting over that in an unseemly fashion for a while now, but am thinking whether it would be smarter to get Omega's ring first, as I would use that more often). I have a bit of time to think about it though. Mmmm mmmmorganas.


If only Adamantoise shouted fun stuff like "Cowabunga dude!" when you killed him, might make all that freaking camping worth the wait.


Maybe boring for you, but I was excited. I got my spinning key item now, I can see myself using this one a bit, as I will be making rainbow threads for profit synths, and it will save my moneys on lightning crystal (and supposedly, save time also.) I am not sure if this is wise to use while I am still skilling on it though, presumably you would prefer not to and synth more times and there fore more chance at skill up. I'm not sure, its 1am here, I'll have to think about this again at a normal hour of the day. I'm trying to think of whether Fletching would be useful, but I never craft those unless for skill up so hm. I guess if I was ranger and doing woodworking to make arrows then I guess that would be useful? /sigh tired. Next stop, Tailor's Ring and/or Magnifying Spectacles. Then Gilt Tapestry, then Weaver's Signboard. One sweet day...

Hello Friends!

This is a bit out of date, I started writing this on whatever date comes up on the post, but it's really the 18th of July now so hm... anyway... on with the update! (Yes, I realise it's a short one, but I will have a newer one to follow this shortly, that is, if i don't get sidetracked again)

We did another Tier 2 Einherjar this week, as we didn't have enough members for a T3. Got the clear, and Dungee got the abjuration. Grats man!

Thanks to Beanie for helping me on my PLD AF Body quest, unfortunately, I can't read instructions, and didn't sneak pull the NMs and got stabbed repeatedly in the face by a few angry orcs. Thank jeebus for reraise though, we managed it in the end! And I still haven't gone to pick that up yet, I have to visit Jugner forest, then back to sandy to pick up my new armor. Maybe I'll do that tonight, now that I'm thinking about it :)

I know its a sad obsession, but I am still pushing my craft, I know it's not very profitable, but its relaxing. I haven't really done much on the game lately bar crafting, I'm pushing my way to 80 so once I hit that landmark I may take a bit of a break, will see how I go... I'll keep you all posted, as I know your just DYING to read about my skilling up rofl.


Oh yeah, Dynamis. Grats to all who got shiny things, and yay for my lolPLD getting a new hat to wear when I level up. Funnily enough, I was the highest level paladin who didnt have it already, so woot woot. I like dynamis. Fun times.

On a brighter note, I have a bit of a monster update today, It would seem that a few exciting-ish things are happening in WhirlingWind lately. Either that, or since my work shifts stabilised, I can actually attend most of the earlier events this month. When I wake up early. Which isn't all that often.

Woke up early enough for Limbus, thanks Weedeater for telling me the gather time before I went to bed, its tricky for me to make it to early events, I never know when to get up as the LSmes is usually updated while I am sleeping.

I duo'd the Uninvited Guests BC with Beanie (read; he solo'd it while I watched) no drops though. Well exp scroll... But as it's not a cloud evoker, it doesn't count. Seems pretty easy to do, just a pain to run out to the BC at Monarch Limm.. You all know how lazy I am.


Yet another Charybdis under my belt, I should probably try getting this sword for myself one day, lord knows I have helped kill it enough times. Congrats Dungee!


We claimed the Sandworm this week too, and were "lucky" enough to be sucked into the Lambton Worm's lair. I say lucky, but I mean really really unlucky. That stupid NM is ridiculous. It does draw in every 1-2 minutes, and when it draws in, every attack u do to it heals it for like 2k HP. Its freaking retarded. You have a small window in which to do rapid damage before draw in again. Sooo stupid. Needless to say we got raped inside and out. Sad, sad times. Well we sort of know what to do now, so we can call that a practise run >.>; Next time.... we're bringing samurais lol.


My first Tier 3 Einherjar, we sadly lost, it was a bad day for WW, but you have to have one of those occasionally, makes the win days seem much sweeter. We ran out of time on the boss, if we had 5 more mins or like 2 more ppl we would have won for sure. Next time!!


Did my first Ashu Talif run also, and it was a resounding success. All I had to do was stand there and cast ballads. Over and over and over. Blms did a fantastic job and we won the BC with no hassles. No good drops though, but having the clear was nice, as I had never done that before. I can get into the T2 ones now :)


More Sea adventures XD God I love this place. Farming organs with Beanie, he went BLU and set up some SCs for me to MB and I broke my record for damage: 2128 Freeze II. It's almost better than sex. Almost. But close. In the way that its nowhere near, but still really cool. lol. I now have 7 xzomit organs toward my thunder obi, and 1 luminian tissue. Still have a few shark organs to go and some more tissue but hopefully will have that done eventually. Then I'll work on my ice obi, and I also want my relaxing earring. Not much else I want to get at this point, I don't really cast the other spells often enough to make all that farming worthwhile. Also, I like my inventory space!


I always forget to look up.


Orochi: Part 2 !! He went down so fast I didn't have time to blink. PLD definately better in this Assault (Tier 10 The Suzanoo Shuffle). Thanks WW for the win on this one, one more ticked off my Captain list of assaults to clear.

Uhh... Yea we lost this one.. The elementals raped a bit. Not so hot. Had to run to dynamis after this one, so can hopefully try again one day soon.

We had a buyer for the PLD AF2 body, we sold it for 2.5mil, much less than we should have got for it, but he was the only buyer, and no one was on the LS that needed it, so we decided to make a bit of gil for the coffer. Sorry Zeci, you snooze, you lose.

After waiting eagerly in anticipation for many many days, I was disappointed to find that my mule, won a rank 5 prize. The xp scroll is level 20, and she will never use it. /sigh. Stupid game.

And last but not least, I levelled Paladin up to 56 last night. Yes, I know, I look retarded. But I honestly think that's the best body piece I can wear at the moment. I decided after the party, to wear the Gallant Coronet, and sell my Mermaid Ring and buy a VIT3 ring in its place. Basically just shuffled around the stats, gained a bit of Defence and HP, and scored (will score, hopefully, if some jerkface doesn't undercut me on the AH) an extra 100k.

Slowly but surely, hoping to get PLD Body AF quest done by end of week, and hopefully hit level 60 over the weekend and my day off on Monday. I have a feeling I will get distracted though.. I always do. Or I'll end up dying somewhere uncomfortable. That's going to be a given though.
