Getting right into it, theres a couple of new things to chat about, and I thought we would start with the ritualistic death picture of the week, this time it was up in the Valley of Sorrows (and it really is ! Homepointing is NOT my idea of a party..)

Weekly ENM yielded another Scouter's rope. Zec:0 Alsha:2 Looks like my magical TH chest opening skills are winning !!

Took me 2 goes on the AH to sell it, some loser undercut me the first time. But it sold today so we get a few more shinies to add to the coffer.


I partook in my first few ZNMs this week also, it seems like SUCH a pain to get to this point though. Take ten pictures of a mob per game day and trade for points, once u have 1000+ points, trade for key item to pop a Tier 1 ZNM. Drops a key item that u trade to get another pop item for a T2 ZNM. And it seems u may need to do more than 1 to get some pop items, for higher Tiers. Then eventually you work your way upto T4 and then after that u get to start again to try and get the items u want. /sigh.

Nevertheless I went along to help out and scored a pair of Ruby Seraweels for my troubles. Not so shabby. Grats to those that got their pop items and other stuff.




Did my first SE Apollyon, normally I have been doing the SW one with the BLMs but today I came bard, so got a taste for something new. Drops included:

but yea no one really wanted anything so everyone else passed lol


Another ZNM! This one was tricky, but we won in the end. Only had time for 1 before going to camp dragons. Gratz to everyone on drops.


There's really only a few bits and pieces I'm keen on from the new update, I want to get the Ixion cape, and maybe a Witch Sash. Roundel earring for WHM seems nice also, and maybe the elemental grips for blm/brd (ice thunder light earth) and maybe the Oracle's set for resting mps. Everything else is a bit meh for what jobs I have. We will see.

Dynamis Valkurm this morning, I had to leave near the end for work though, cuz we entered a bit later. Got a few nice drops, and i think that Dungee got a SMN piece after I left, hard to see from the chat log though, as I exited dyna when I went to work. Congrats everyone! And thank you to WhirlingWind for letting me lot on Cleric's Belt !! *much loves to you all* Now I can hang it up in my mog house, ready for that one day that WW lets me come WHM to an event. One day... One day.... lol :P edit : Dungee got Summoner's Cape! Congrats!


After work tonight, I raced to Windy to do my Guild points. I had to turn out 15 Nomad's Tunics, and the cost was ghey, but sooo worth it as I squeezed through to 100k and got my new sexy apron !!! Look look !


I think I was more excited about the Weaver's Apron than my Cleric's belt XD I'm sooo excited. Now I feel like a REAL crafter.

AWOL?

Sorry for the lack of blogging from my corner of the world, I have just been so busy at work lately, I haven't had much time to play. I promise I haven't fallen off the face of the planet, although back in the old days, that was virtually possible considering I live in Australia.

Lately, I basically come home from work and am exhausted just sitting down, so have been keeping pretty low key. As for the events I did go to, they were mainly from last weekend, as this week I have been working early every day, and I was meant to have Saturday off, but now am working 9-5 /sadface. And then I have a work function on at 7, it will be a rush to get home and get all beautified and then go back into town. I'll manage somehow. I have to wear a dress too.... /sigh. Well I already have the dress, but had no shoes... So I went out hunting in the mall tonight. I ended up buying 2 pairs of shoes that I really can't afford... Hence me picking up Saturday's shift.

Its a vicious cycle. (note that the men are rolling their eyes and the women are nodding in understanding?)

So as for events that I managed to get to this week, I cleared my first Dynamis-Qufim.
Congrats to those that got new shinies, I think I am still working up attendance points to be able to lot items, the minimum points being 8, and the fact that I end up having to jet to work half way through most runs doesn't help either :\





We also went Ixion hunting last weekend, and I went and did a bit of exploring in the past... (insert token death picture here)


Nevertheless, we did find Ixion, however, I had fallen asleep as it was around 3am. Congratulations to Tzaellia for Ixion Cape, Congratulations to Laverna for Ixion Cloak and Congratulations to Lolchipmunk for WAR Gaiters!

My first Tier 2 Einherjar also~ This was a really fun one, we had to kill the boss's simultaneously, we came close to running out of time, was a lot of fun. Bunk drops too, but nice to get the win~


I saw a shout in Whitegate for Storms of Fate quest (ie: Bahamut Ver.1) and asked to come along as I needed this clear as well. Went around to do my final CS for CoP missions (yes i know, im ultra lazy and never got around to it). Everyone was like oooh its so amazing its like the best cs in the whole game, but idk, it was okay... The music was sort of nice I suppose, and some pretty landscapes, but it wasn't really as groundbreaking as I expected. Maybe I can blame people like Lament for getting my hopes up! *shakes fist* I do like pretty landscapes though, and here are a few for your viewing pleasure:

The alliance was fairly nice, but idk, I have never done this before, but they acted like they were going to zerg it, but they hardly had any melees, just a bunch of blms running around....


So we died.. But no biggie, we can just try again right????


And one more time~ I gave up after that, was getting frustrated with the game and sort of punching things :\ Okay, I lie, I didnt punch anything but I was grumpy so hopefully WW lets me get this done next time they go to do BV2. If I'm not chained to my desk at work, that is.


Went to do the weekly ENM at Bearclaw Pinnacle with Zecilus (this is #2). We got up there and realised it was just starting ice day.... Which meant permanent ice weather all day. So we duo'd a bunch of buffalos til the day passed, and got some tasty xp in the process. And!!!!!!!!!! Broke my record on non sea mobs damage!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOOOOOOOOK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @.@;; And I didn't even ES it!

Okay, I'm done gloating.

Ooooh I was so mad that night, was sliding down the mountain to drop onto the shelf to the tunnel that leads to the ice item, and I fell through the fucking mountain sideways and ended up dumped underneath Bearclaw Pinnacle. And the GM had the audacity to tell me that it wasn't a glitch, but was a trap designed on purpose. Fuck that. I have never fallen into that "trap" before, and have never noticed a glitch until now. Why the fuck doesn't it say that on the freaking wiki then?? (note: you may notice a trap to the left side of the slide down, try to position yourself on the right side of the drop to avoid having to walk around again.) GMs can blow me, they're good for nothing else.

/end rant.


I was really calm and collected towards the GM though, despite his lack of logic, and my burning desire to bash him in the face with a saucepan. I was swearing a bit on vent though, I think I shocked poor Bako, he didn't know what to say :\

Ended up going to bed after that, I was tired and grumpy and pissed off, as I had home pointed and come back only to get stuck in the glitch again... So I went to bed. We did the ENM the following night, without incident (OR ANY FUCKING GLITCHES MIND YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)

And we got Scouter's Rope. Ftw. Next time It better drop 2x Forager's Mantles for all my trouble.


Did some Paladin AF's too, thanks to Zec for helping with finding my pants coffer, and thanks to Anime, Bako and Zec for helping me with crown coffer (Garliage citadel ewwww) But found it all very quickly so was very easy and quick.

And you all laughed when I said I had 17 keys hoarded away in my Mog house. Who'se laughing now??? hehe


Realised I had 7 unused merits.... Mmmm..... BLM..... I love BLM more and more, especially after increasing merits.... Makes me wanna.... uhh nevermind >.>;


That's about all the interesting stuff really, I levelled Clothcraft up to 72.1, and got 75k worth of Guild Points. I can get my Crafting glasses now, but I'm thinking to wait out the other 25k and buy my sexy apron. I know I know, its the same +1 stat.... But sexy apron! !!!

This 73-78 stretch on Rainbow thread is painful though.. Spider webs go for 2500g usually here, on the AH.. But while i can sell the result to make profit, its only if i dont break too many... Which I do. And I havent gotten much skill up lately... /sadness.

I could always go farm them, and turn in 100% profit.... But that would involve actual farming. And I think we have established that I don't. Farm. At all.

I dont' have enough time to do that. Also, this game is meant to be fun! Make other ppl farm for you. >.>;; Srsly though, if anyone reading this on Cerberus has spider webs to sell, send me a tell I'll give you a fair price for them. You get something for nothing straight away, and I get something for cheap withough having to waste my time farming... Cmon... you know you want to...

But yeah.. Not much else happening for me my lovely happy campers, so until I have something more exciting to discuss, Au revoir!

We killed Tiamat again, and she put out like the good little dragon she is. CONGRATULATIONS NYANOH!~!!!~~~ A well deserved pair of new shoes, go girly!

It popped a bit earlier than we would like, again -.- We managed to fight it with only 8 people for about an hour, (gogo blms) and then the rest of WhirlingWind woke up and came to the party. Everyone did an awesome job, and I have decided this fight is decidedly less stressful as blm than as brd.

I was bored and noticed a random shout party needing a DD 5/6 (Blm is DD, shutup) so I put up my hand and went along. Seemed to have a nice set up (PLD RDM BLM BLM SAM WHM) but for some reason... The RDM couldn't master the concept of CHAINSPELL AT 50% AND STUN THE CRAP OUT OF IT PRZ. kthx. Yeah I dont know what happened, but it took 4 times before we gave up (and the RDM still hadnt used his 2 hour) Good times.

I have already done this fight, but would have liked the earring for my warrior. Maybe another day :)

Oooh another death pic. Went farming in sky for Diorite for Lament and Zecilus (hello Byakko's Haidate) and I managed to almost cap my blm xp in one sitting. Very nice. Other than that time I died. And Dabtuls died. And Lament died. But hey, we got the diorite so its all ok, right??


My first time hunting Sea HNMs ^^

It was really fun! We killed 2x Jailer of Prudence, Jailer of Hope and Jailer of Love. Nothing dropped til the last one, and we got a Love torque (congrats Anime) and a Love halberd (congrats Necksnapper). And I didnt die!





Is it really bad of me to be sad that AV didnt pop and rape everyone? Man.. that would have been an epic screenshot. Maybe next time ^_~

I finally completed my bard artifact set, we killed the Bugaboo NM the other night. Thanks Zec for helping! It was fun~


Except for the part where he let it rape me inside and out... That was less fun.


I have been levelling Paladin up a little more this week also, as my mates Seraphix and Metzzo have their war and sam at my level. I hit 52 and got to play with some new toys : Gallant Leggings, Ice Gauntlets, and Tactical Magician's Espadon +1 mmm... Shiny.


I am usually really good with the keyboard, and hardly ever MT anything really serious or embarassing. Once i accidently bitched out the shitty paladin in my party by putting the chat in /p instead of /l, but the PLD wasnt paying attention and didnt notice anyway :3

This made me go "oh shit... MT!" though. >.>;;; (edited out the battle spam for your viewing pleasure)


The party were like "Um... >.<" It was a bit funny, but had to post it, I was so mortified it was funny. lols..


Had a go at the Brothers ENM last nite in Bearclaw Pinnacle, Zec and I managed to duo it (lets not mention the last time we came up here .....!!) but we did really well, I was secretly surprised. I think I'm slowly getting better at this blm thing. It didnt drop anything decent though, /sadface. Raise III and Cassia Lumber, thank christ for that. Cuz you know, I never bought Raise III, I guess it might come in handy now and then???


More fun pics. Right before bed, Fionn, Zec and I tried Double Agent T5 Mamools assault... I hate this one so much its such a pain. You have to talk to all the Qiqirn NPCs to try find out which one is the spy, but they give you all shitty good for nothing clues and u end up kicking stuff because you cant work out which one it is.

I hate it so much I committed suicide over it. See below.


I think Fionn enjoyed the assault though, idk, just call it intuition?


And logging in tonight, I walked into Beseiged, yet again. I really need to start checking the zone before I go shopping at the clothcraft guild :\

But fun times to be had on BLM, and got some more Imperial Standing to boot.

I've decided I like putting lolcats on my blog, so expect to see more lols. And by that, I mean more pictures of me dead in weird places.

Got a tell from a mate in Progeny LS asking for a hand with Hydra. I've never seen this NM before so thought I'd go along. I had to look it up on the wiki, I didn't even know where it popped lol. It spawns in that middle area of Wajaom Woodlands, that I didn't realise you could even walk into, let alone that there was a NM there.

You learn something new every day.

The drops aren't anything exciting, but its a bit of money if you can sell on AH or find a crafter willing to buy. Seraphix has a crafter that wanted mats so I think that's why he organised this. We low manned it, got it down to 5% and something went wrong and we wiped sadly, I think I was a bit tired maybe I missed a few cures, who knows. I had to sleep after that, but they ended up killing it afterwards.



My first Dynamis - Valkurm. Interesting sort of dynamis, it's a bit different than what I am used to. When we enter, our sub jobs are restricted til we kill the 3 nightmare flies. Then we go around killing a couple of main NM's that weaken the mega boss, by taking away certain abilities and attributes. The dynamis is only short too, its like 1 hour plus 1 hour extension for killing the boss. So its not much time to farm, but you get nice AF-1 in this zone.


And the Boss fight. We zerged it pretty quick, very fun.


And more Uggalepih Pendant farming. I like this fight, it's a lot of fun^^ Gratz to Laverna, Zecilus and Mattis this time. We will be back!!! Needs moar pendants...


And I finally got off my arse and completed my COP cut scenes to get my Tamas Ring!! My BLM looks a bit less lol now. I'm so happy. My WHM makes great use of this ring, it replaced my ether ring, and added the extra MND stats and -ENM. It's niiiice!

Also went back to try get my Parade Gorget again, I ended up with 1/5, first three times with no TH, next time with TH1 and last time when Ovuge came down and brought his TH3/4. Thank you guys~


Keeping busy as always, and in line with my Paladin thoughts, I went to do my AF boots the other day. I solo'd the first part of it, as there were no Giant Shell bugs on the AH, I had to go kill that NM for them in Crawler's Nest. I solo'd it 2x to get 4 bugs, just in case. We only ended up needing one, but I tried to fish up the NM in Castle Oztroja like 20 times, and no bites. Zecilus has 60 fishing skill, and he got it on the 2nd try I think. *shakes fist* Thank you~~


Went sea farming for the first time in a group, It was really fun, the Eo'aerns have reraise, so occasionally after we would nuke it down, it got back up again >.<;; Was all good though, we just nuked it down again and made xp chains so that was sort of nice too. I got an Aern Organ to add to my stockpile of obi mats. Mmm.. Shiny.

Did Dynamis - Xarcabard yesterday, but had to leave before the DL fight, as I had to go to work. From what I hear we got pretty dodgy drops... Except for bard pants which I did want, but wasn't around for in either case. Congrats to everyone that got new clothes for their mannequins~!


That's all for the moment, I have a long weekend this weekend, so was hoping to get a few things done around the house, so not sure how much I will be playing, but we will see. We will see...
