Small steps

I thought I would start off this new update with something interesting!

Yes, I died yet again~ Surprise! We were doing Lebros cavern assaults for points for Yigit boots... Gogo Evade and Escape.

We also went to hunt Tiamat, but as he popped so early, only 3 people were on the LS, so we hung around to see if anyone was getting up, but RTU LS got organised before anyone woke up, so we settled in to watch the show.


I ended up dozing off near the end but woke up for the kill, they took aaaaages to kill it, like over 2 hours I think. A GM was called, by which side who knows, as either LS was trying to MPK the other from what I understand. Good times.


I levelled up clothcraft a bit the other day, I find I have a bit more gil to spare lately, so have been buying up cheap silk. LV66 now!^^



Went to limbus yesterday, nice clean run, scored myself an item for whm and blm AF upgrades. Not sure what items I want to upgrade though... Will have to investigate.



More COP stuff! WW helped me and Kattsy with our 8-2 mission. Thank you so much to Eugene and Zecilus for helping out. Wouldn't have managed with out you two! It didn't even take that long, we slept most of the things in our way. Gorgeous area, but lots of nasty things waiting to eat me lol >.<


We had to guide a few Quasilimium (however its spelled) NPCs through the area to open certain doors to get through to the boss. Naturally, I was so excited I forgot to take pics of the boss fight, but it wasn't too spectacular, we killed it pretty easily :)

Next mission is 8-3 which involves climbing a couple of towers in the Garden of Ru'hmet (or however it is called lol), am hoping to maybe do that today or tomorrow as I have this weekend off work. Then will only have to complete final mission 8-4 and I'm done with sea missions foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I'll get my sexy Tamas ring ! Cannot wait ! Getting there slowly^^

Woke up really early this morning (4am lols) because I feel asleep ridiculously early; ; Did a quick ENM (Antlions) but no drop, so now doing a bit of crafting, as I have some money for mats atm. Did KSNM yesterday, I traded my orb for Copy cat and we manaburned it~ I scored not only the 100% adaman ingot, but a damascus ingot and a orichalcum ingot too. I think I got the best drop out of everyone, but we all made at least 100k off it so alls well. Nice KSNM, much better than ODS. A bit harder, but more rewarding.


I just hit 67 Clothcraft!! One step closer to that ever elusive Aristocrat's cloak^^;

We did 6 pops and only 2 pendants dropped, mine was the first one (1/2, I had tried once before but no drop) and Kattsy got his too. I'll help out again next time anyone wants to go, this NM is a fun fight when manaburned, just frustrating sometimes! I lost so much xp with dying lol >.<




We did Einherjar today, and got the clear for Siegrune's Chamber (Now I'm 2/3 for Tier 1 wings)

Sorry, had to say something!! Remember when I told you to cap your xp on BLM, and you said that u wanted to merit instead?


I was really excited about maxing out my Freeze II merits. So excited I took a screenshot. I know, I know... It's lame, but what else am I going to take pictures of ?


Went to test it out at Mount Zhayolm on the squishy puddings, I nearly fell over when I saw the damage. Actually, the highest I did was 1896 Freeze II (I know, pics or it didnt happen, but I promise it did.) I have done more damage on sea mobs, but this is still pretty special for me. Considering my extremely low Elvaan INT, that is. I was eating NQ melon pies though, because I'm stingy and didn't want to fork out for +1's. (They were 20k a stack......)


We claimed Behemoth tonight. No real suprise as we had no competition... However, surprising as it was only around 1am in the US, and around 2pm in Japan.

Camping Aspid at the moment, I have only one window left before I have to leave, and then I'd be cutting it short if HQ pops. Hoping that because we have lots of ppl on tonight that we will kill it fast so I can at least get my title XD

I have to go out and do a few things, I have an appointment to get my nails fixed, I broke a couple this week, then I should do some grocery shopping if I have time. I'd like to go out for sushi tonight, I have a bit of a craving. Depends on how much time I have though, I'd like to make it back home by 5.30pm if possible, but I can see my outing in town blowing out longer. They usually do.

ZOMG CHAIN 100!!!111111111eleventyone

A couple nights ago KB's first window opened just as I got home, and no one was out there, so a few of us WW members went out for the kill. Easy fight as per normal, dropped a hide, which we sold for some nice moneys.

I joined LS members to attempt T10 assault ~ Bloody Rondo. Unfortunately, we ran into bad luck and wiped with 2% of the NM"s health. At the end of the fight Tiamat popped, so we had to run. I had to work so couldnt join the fight, but I heard it dropped not much of anything.

I've never tried any of the T10 assaults, it was really hard lol. Count Dracula in the Bloody Rondo one was an interesting NM. It does a charm move that turns your char into a bat, much like the frog chorus move. lols.

Last night I saw a JP shout for the Suzanoo Shuffle T10 one, so after a bit of confused discussion with the leader, I geared up bard. We did soooo well on this one, got it right down to 5% then something went wrong and the 3 ninjas went down one after the other in rapid succession, followed by the 2 red mages and the lone bard.


Was a fun fight though, looking forward to knocking this one out next time.

Tonight was a quiet night, I was a bit tired so watched a movie, then got invited to LS merit party for an hour or so. BRD BRD RDM NIN NIN WAR @ colibri camp mmmm..... merits...


And I got to pull on bard, which never ever happens (I felt sooo rusty) but I hit my first chain 100 as puller. Have had higher chains but with me as WHM. But pulling my first chain 100 (well 124 or so actually) was a good feeling. But now I have a headache lol; ; so going to go lay down for a while.



I ended up with a few extra merits after recapping xp on bard, so i put another merit into Freeze 2 which is now (Im proud to say) maxed at level 3. next on the list is Burst 2 from level 1 to level 3. I have 2 merits left, so need 7 more to max out Burst 2. Then I'll work on moving ice and thunder potency from level 3 to level 5. I think I'm going to need 18 merits for that. THEN Blm will be done for specific merits. Then moving on to finish MP from levle 3 to level 8 (I think u can go to level 8 right?) And then finally work on INT merits. It says I can put 5 merits in, but not sure if i should leave room for other things i may want to use in that section for other jobs later *like str for war etc* I will see how I go if I get that far.

I completed another thing on my list of things To Do a few days ago!
LV50 PLD ! And back in the closet it goes...

Actually, I really enjoyed levelling it the last few days. I hate admitting it though, because I dont really want 75 PLD to be really honest.... But I do enjoy levelling it up. And I've been checking out some of the gear at lvl 50 and its sort of nice... See below :

Rawr! Shiny goldness. I'm going to get a Parade Gorget before I pick it up again, and I want to buy a T.M. Espadon, Rush gloves and Royal Knight's mufflers, R.K. Army shield, Iron Musketeer's Cuisses.. For now. But going to leave it on the shelf for a while, got a few more things on my list I want to accomplish in my free time.

Planning to do my bastok ranks, currently on 6-1 (the 2 manticore Nm's in the desert) and want to get up to 10 and then change back to Windurst once I manage to get my bastokan ring (gdi, get rank 1 for just ONE week you pansys!! I want my bloody ring!) (Also, with the new update, I shouldn't have to redo my OP's for windy nation, I SHOULD get back the ones I had before. Unless SE decide that anything previously accomplished already got erased, in which case I will be very very sad.)

I got invited to another salvage run with WW the other day, we did Silver Sea Remnants, followed by a Zhayolm Remnants.

No 35s dropped, but the boss dropped 2 bits of tasty gear... And I got to lot on the cuffs.....!!!!! Mmmm so shiny....

This morning I went to Limbus before work, we did SW Apollyon, and got items for DRK, SMN, NIN, SAM, THF, PLD, and a handful of coins and the charcoal chip. I was feeling a bit meh this morning so wasn't really in the mood to play let alone take screenshots, but wanted to go to Limbus so ended up playing after all. I woke up just in time to go gather, so I thought it must have been a sign :P I dont always get to go to events cuz of work so thought I'd make the best of it. We 18 manned it so it went really smoothly. No BLM BRD WHM pieces though, so no shinies for me ! :P Grats to those who got items, I didn't write it down, sorry !

The other team did Omega, and Congrats to Kelari for Homan body, and to Necksnapper and Spliffy for Homan legs !!! What wild drops!

A day of Firsts

What to do what to do ... Last night I was a bit bored, so decided to pull out my 48RDM and get the last 2 levels I wanted, to round off at 50. I really don't know if I would enjoy taking this one to 75, although it seems to be the natural progression of events, from WHM>BLM>BRD>RDM, but I really don't know. So far, I have mainly been main heal in exp parties. (and then Refresh whore as of lvl 41, and Haste whore as of lvl 48) I know there is a lot more to this job, but solo'ing things on RDM/NIN just really doesn't appeal to me. And I'd rather merit on BRD. So I think I will just leave this one at 50 for now, and see what happens down the track.

Pulling my RSE out of storage brings back memories^^ My party was quite nice actually, SCH main healed while I refreshed and hasted. The only thing was the PLD was abit low (45, and we were 48-49) so the xp fell off a bit toward the end. Disbanding with @5000 to lvl 50, I made a new party with Dabtuls from WW on SAM, and picked up a NIN, THF, DRK, and DNC. The DNC main healed for me, which was nice. Xp was a bit slower, we needed stronger DD for the crabs but it was actually not so bad. @1500, Dabs d/cd and the JP players were tired, so we ended it there.

I was really tired and a bit meh, didn't really feel like doing much, so I went to sleep for a few hours, and when I woke up, I headed off to the past to get my level. I did 7 lots of Campaign ops, just spammed the crafting one for 90x per. So I only had a few hundred xp to get, so headed to Rolanberry Fields [S] to get that. After one battle, I was left @15 -.- C'mere little sapling... /stab.

Then we had Limbus! I was so scared, I have never done it before, but it was sooo much fun XD I went with the manaburn group, I love BLM so much... Soo much fun...

And I thought I was done with Promys >.<
Shit out of luck there.
Limbus was awesome though, we did NE Apollyon, the one with Fafnir and King Behemoth bosses.

We killed the first floor boss, then 2nd Floor also, but skipped 3F Adamantoise, then killed Fafnir on 4F, and King Behemoth on 5F.

We ended up with items for SAM DRK DRGx2 THF and SMN, and the magenta chip and metal chip at the end. So nothing really useful ._. We got handfuls of ancient beastcoins for the LS also, hoping that if I can attend limbus often enough, I may be in the running for a Loquacious and Musical earring. (difficult as lsmes is always updated in the morning CST, which is when im sleeping, so I wake up and have to sort of hope I'm up early enough for certain events.) Last time I woke up after they already entered limbus /sadface. We will see how we go :) I can use Loq earring on both brd and whm, and musical obviously for bard. Either wait, and hope I get it from the LS, or save up 600k and buy 75 coins myself. Hmm.... See how we go. See, I really want the 2 earrings, but not sure if I want to wait that long to get them, or just buy them myself. Hmmm Hmmm.... We will see.

My first Einherjar! (well, I did it once on Ifrit server, and it was a complete failure, you know, back when it first came out and no one knew what to do lol. So I'm not counting that one.)

Cleared Gerhilde's Chamber with out much incident, but we got the Marid boss (ewwww). We handled it professionally though, and won ourselves 2 Marid hides and a Marid hair, which free lotted to whoever wanted it. A couple more people are now cleared for T2 Einherjar, but I am still needing the other 2 T1 areas first. This may take me a while, as I can only attend 3-4 events per week if I'm lucky, and can't always make it to Einherjar. Was quite fun though !

Day 5 Fafnir finally put out on Thursday and WW got another Riddil - congrats to Odog! Unfortunately, I was working so missed out on the fight, and I missed out today as well as I got stuck on an early shift. I was out the door before the window opened :( And working all day Saturday! That was my last FF for the week, as Nidhogg popped today while I was at work, and we got claim. Congrats to Mattingly for his A.body !! sweeet.

Little tarus shouldn't be allowed to have big swords! Having to strap your Riddil to your back is not my idea of cool XD (well actually, that is sort of cool... >.>)

I fell asleep early thursday nite, Just couldnt keep my eyes open {Yawn}, I had an early day the next day at work. And was feeling a bit blue so wasn't really in the mood to do anything anyway. I ended up doing some house work and I finished putting together my coffee table, so thats one more thing out of the way. (I had a bunch of furniture delivered last week and I'm painstakingly putting it all together. I have done 2 chairs and my coffee table.. Much more handyman type work than any girl should ever have to do.. Methinks I need to find someone to do it for me !! *wink wink* *nudge nudge*)

As for tonight, I got my bastok 5-1 mission done !! Finally lol. I had put it on my "to do list" for this weekend, but i got home and saw someone had just shouted in jeuno for it, so i asked if he was full, and they were 5/6 so i tagged along on bard. We had to do it 2x because one of the ppl had d/cd and missed the cs. No pictures cuz I forgot (whoops) But we have all seen the fight before so nothing new here !!

My ultra-cool pick up party and the Shadow Lord. Fun times. We had a couple of level 50's in the mix that kept aggro'ing shit like, all the way there (arghhh..)

Then just idled away some time til Behemoth camp opened... and.....

He tried to eat me ! I was all excited about being able to pull hate on my BLM (take THAT! King Behemoth!! Muahhahahahhahahha...) but that was probably not a good idea after a few Meteors landed here and there (completely not my fault. well, one of them may have been, sorry WW!)... XD

I got some new toys for my BLM. Aquilo's staff and Mahatma Slops. I sold my Jet Seraweels to Lament, and bought the Mahatma Slops at a bargain price at the AH. Basically, they cost me 10k. Woot! 1 more INT... Cuz you know how badly I need that shit.

I have never had such a stressful encounter on this game. I swear. You wouldn't think it would be so difficult to play bard at Tiamat, all you have to do is like, carol when hes flying and like, ballad and march and shiz when hes sitting. Right?? Wrong. Well I got it wrong, I guess I misunderstood and didnt see the part where I was not meant to put carol on the mages as well. "But Ma'am, it's my first day" doesnt really cut it in the HNM scene lol. I worked it out in the end though, thanks to Mowgul and Dramion's kind tells telling me exactly how I was screwing it up lol :P Cheers dudes!

I included this pic (not in sea obviously, but over that way :P) the landscape is just so pretty. Hats off to the artists involved with the COP areas, they are just gorgeous to look at.

The airship fight!! (was really tricky.) Well, it wasn't so bad with a good set up which we did have, but it took a couple of shots to get it right. The Blm that we picked up didnt follow instructions very well to start with so we wiped 2x before we nailed it. Here are some snaps for your viewing pleasure;

Ultima? I can't remember which is which hehe. I got to don my sexy whm AF again, I haven't worn this stuff in forever. I used to hate it so much, (i look like a clown!) but now that I dont see it all the time I think its kinda cute. Even with the hat!

Hopefully the next snap isnt a spoiler, I have taken over 2 years to get this far in PM's I don't really remember what the story is about. I will have to find an online thing that puts it all together for me so I can read the story or cutscenes in order one after eachother. Then maybe it will all make sense lol.

There were a few NM's on the way to the next big fight, so me and Katts tried duo'ing them. We did fine for the most part, NIN/DNC is really freaking awesome, he could have solo'd the squid NM no problem.

We needed a little help on the next one though there was 3 tonberry NMs that link.. No fair. Odog came on BLM with his ultra kiting skills lol.. Good job though, after like 2 tries to do some tricky pop where we didnt aggro the other 2 and tried to like kill it without aggroing them and what not, but it turned out we did need to kill them all to get the cutscene haha. Hmmm ... we managed in the end. woot !

Then I sort of forgot about the whole lead up to arriving here, I was so mesmerised by the place. It was like being one of those kids in the movie Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, when they get into the chocolate garden for the first time, and are like touching everything and eating stufff off the trees and falling into the chocolate river and shit.

Hehe.. fun stuff. Below are some cool pics (if I do say so myself!) of the aern NM's we got to fight as part of 8-1 mission (I think its to access the inside of sea). 3 lots of 3 went down pretty fast, we had a bunch of people come up and guide us through the area. Godyss helped us get our maps too, thank you !!!!

The gate way to .... Well, Im not sure really. I think this part goes inside the inner part of sea. I still havent done much exploring yet. Cool cs though.

I came back later, on BLM/RDM and Zecilus showed me how to solo stuff in sea on BLM......

And omg its so much fun. Like, my blm doesnt suck so bad here. Like everything is really really squishy. Check out my damage! (yes, I know most of you blms are lol'ing at me now, but that's like the best numbers I have managed to clock up ever on BLM.) So I got excited. Now I have found my new hobby when everyones alseep on the LS lul.
