Now that we've established that, moving on to my update.

Alot of new things have happened I guess, since Christmas lol. I'm probably going to forget a lot of stuff so I just pulled up some of the cooler pictures and we will see what comes to mind.

We had a bit of fun in Halvung, the other night- farmed up a Smoky Flask and killed down a Big bomb,, but no drop QQ


This was really nice, I got my new Homam hands XD Gogo PLD. I feel a little bad getting called for these as I don't play PLD for the LS at all - theres always so many more better geared Paladins online when we are doing anything. But I like it for my personal use, Zec and I duo an ENM that I go Paladin for which is nice, and maybe I can play around on it in the mornings sometimes =P


We have had some really bad, and some really really incredible luck in our Salvage group - we managed to get Greger's 35 Macha's Cuffs a few weeks ago and we got Odog's 35 Macha's Slops last week !!! Such a rare drop congratulations sweetie, we're all so excited for you ! Grats on 5/5 Morrigan's.

I have been doing a lot of crafting myself, I levelled my leathercraft up to 53, and my Clothcraft is now 96^^ Anddd I got my magnifying specs XD so +2 now ._. Taking a break from crafting, my gil is getting way low, have to build my funds up again lol

Umm.. What else to write hm... Just been really busy irl since I bought my new house and stuff, been here but not here lol. But had some time to kill tonight camping KB, so thought I'd squeeze in an update ^^ Will dig up some more stuff to post this weekend xxx

Merry Christmas Vana'diel !!!

I'm hoping everyone is having a fantastic Christmas- I got to catch up with my family on Christmas eve, which was really nice. And just spend the day relaxing, I slept in until midday! The joys of living away from your family hehe. Well here's my update~

Einherjar has been tricky lately~ we have been having a lot of trouble with our Tier 3 runs.. We keep getting jewed on either the mobs leading up to the boss or the boss itself.. Although we are farming alot of ampoules.... I nearly have my Morgana's Choker! lewls.


I have been levelling Dark Knight lately, just for shits and giggles. I'm level 25 now! (But perpetually level 19... Thanks to level sync hehe)

Hmmmmm Congrats darkness... Actually we gave the A.Feet to Mich, one of Misipi's JP friends that comes and helps us sometimes. Grats !


Weirdest fucking alliance ever ! WW+KON+Armada+Progeny+RTU team up to fight Sandworm lewls. Dantes and Diavolo claimed it and called a few friends in to help. Majority were WW I do believe, and the plan was to free lot all drops.



It's WW luck that landed us in the den of Lambton Worm.. I remember the first time we tried this one we had to give up~ it was like the first week it came out and no one had seen it before or knew what to do... Weaponskills giving it over 9000 HP ouch !

We triumphed with 5 minutes or so left on the clock so we did well for a hobbled together team. And we saw an Ancient Torque and a Damascene cloth~ AND OF COURSE DANTES LOTS OVER NINE THOUSAND grats slob! :P


Finally got off my arse and did my Bastok Missions ! Dingdingding. Grats to Balderach too~ and thank you for SPing with me :P We got some nice moneys too~




The final fight wasn't too hard either! Manaburned in the span of around hmmm three minutes lewls. What a pushover.



And then I changed back to Windurst finaly haha. Something I have been meaning to do in a long time.. My guild is in Windurst its so much easier to warp there from Whitegate now that its my home nation once again. So finished all 3 nations to rank 10! Next is finishing up my Aht Urghan missions.. I got up to 42 recently, needing to do the nyzul isle one, and then Alexander fight I think. Maller in WW is needing that fight too so hopefully can catch up soon and join him with that, and get my shiny new ring.

Yet another of those "I swear I'm back" posts

Well its been an interesting couple of months, I have completely neglected my blog, and been really busy irl.

My biggest news is that I bought a house recently, I move in about a month!! My own place to call my own, so I can get a kitten and paint the house whatever colour I like and nail things to the walls without getting shot. I can't wait XD

I'll have to keep you posted with pictures when I move in I am so excited I havent thought about much else lately. And my play time has definately suffered, but for the better of course^^

Here is a bit of an update on some of the things that have been happening in Vana'diel. By all means its not everything, but some of the interesting thing nonetheless.


Scholar is sooo much fun!! I'm level 64 now and here is my char in full AF I look a bit nerdy but kinda rawr as well.. So who knows lol. But yeah so much fun. I have been doing a bunch of campaign when I only have a short time to play, so bad cuz you just have to find one where there are NPCs, then just Acession and then Cure IV and run like hell and kite the mobs til they get off you, and you get a ton of points for all the mad cures, as it casts -ga on everyone around the NPC you target. RDM sub has been fun in parties too, with Acession and Enblizzard and Hailstorm. At 68 I'll get Stoneskin which is going to be wild...



Have had some fun in sea lately, our linkshell made an adjustment to the way we do Sea, to get more people motivated to go farm pop items, so I've been helping on some Ix'aerns lately, and farming up Ghrah M Chips. I also did a whole bunch of organ farming duo with Odog and Greg, and completed my Relaxing Earring, and half of my Thunder Obi (already have Ice). Just need 3 more Lumi tissues to get that one. I just have my eye on 3 more items to complete my Hmp set: Invigorating cape, Phi Necklace and Oracle's Robe. First is purchasable or can trade assault points, 2nd is rare/ex assault item and 3rd is Znm pop. Not much more to go !


Did some sky a while back this one's out of order but who cares. Logged on to Zecilus while he was at work and got that nab some haidates. What a slob.

We fought some Fafnirs low man - we were doing soooo well until we took in a JP BLM - one of Misipipi's friend and he Sleepga II at 10% o.O Talk about screwed. If we didnt invite him we would have done it lol.. Sooo unlucky.

A semi different look?

So was really bored last night (well morning for you americans) and I was camping Fafnir on my lonesome (well until Bako came to hang out with me of course!), and I decided to play with my blog a bit. I added a banner to the title, I made it all myself, Tz you'd be proud of my newb picture making skillz! hehe. And I added some ffxi game and character info for myself on the right hand side, for all the nosy readers out there wondering "Omg! I wonder what jobs and missions and shit she has?!?!?!" cuz I know ur thinking it, even if ur not saying it amirite??

Anywayyyy... Just a short update, keeping in line with my "shorter posts, more often" ambitions, I haven't been up to much in Vana'diel lately due to work and irl committments, and I doubt I will be on much until next week, as I am working early tomorrow so will miss the event, and again the next day, and on Thursday I fly out interstate for a mini holiday. I'm very much looking foward to it, I feel like lately I really need a bit of time off. And not just time of work, time away from everything here, including FFXI. I'm only gone four days, but I am sure that it will make a huge difference in how I am feeling lately. Sometimes a holiday is as good as.. well.. a holiday! As they say?

I dug up this old pic that I used as an old signature back when I was a newbie WHM on Ifrit. On my first day in sky I was so overawed by how beautiful it was up there I wanted to take a nice picture. So I went back the second time (and for those of you that are perceptive, yes, I did get zenith crown on my first day, it was rotting in my old LS lol) and took some what I thought at the time, artsy pictures and this one was my favourite. I had since come to loathe sky, I think I managed to either get myself killed, or someone else got me killed at least twice every single run.

Ahhh.. Memories...!


As for stuff I did so far this week and weekend:


Killed Omega again and we got some sweet drops, Congratulations to Diogi for Homam body, Wolftamer for Homam legs, and Baldersnatch for Homam head. I mean Balderach, I'm sorry, the nick name is growing on me >.<;; You know we loves you Baldy! *hugs*



And another Tiamat kill! Silly cow didn't drop anything good though, Grats to Dabtuls for Oxblood. Tiamat did say congrats to me for my new Gaiters though... Twice.... -.-; Serves me right for going BLM for a change.. Bet if I went bard I wouldnt have died lol. I got drawn in once and got killed from some gay move, and then she got me a second time when i was weakened... sigh sigh... I'll have my revenge, next time my pretty...

Nice drops though in the end, it was a holiday here on that day so I only had to work a short afternoon shift, so made it to the end of the run for once. Took a crap picture and forgot to get a nice one, was too busy barding it up. It will do for the purposes of this blog though, and a big congrats to all the lucky winners.

A couple more things to update, I haven't been to many events this week due to work sadly, they are making me come in a lot earlier lately *saface*

But here are some things we did, and some stuff we got!


More sky, hehe. I have been trying to make a conscious effort to attend this event, as I usually don't go and sleep in (it starts at like 430am my time... But I have been getting up at like 530am or 6am to try and make it to at least the end half. I'd like to get some of the Martial gear for my Paladin too, so if I don't go I won't have a chance to lot on anything! lol. It's fun though, I enjoy the event.


We did 2 Byakko's but only got haidates on the 2nd pop, a big Congratulations to DUNGEE !!! Grats hon! I got myself some Earthen feet for my upcoming Warrior as well, it went to free lot so I thought why not?


Ahhh Kirin Kirin Kirin. I was able to stay for 2 of these before I had to jet to work, Grats to Weedeater for W.Legs and Grats to Coberst on Osode (And Dramion Osode from last week!!)

This morning woke up just in time to help out on Sarameya ZNMs, I think we had 4 pops but I had to go after 2. The drops weren't that good from what I understand, I got myself a shiny new hat though, thanks guys! Will be a nice addition to my resting set, particularly for BLM.


I was heaps tired this morning, went out for dinner last nite with my friend Emma, we went to this gorgeous french restaurant in the city called The Corner Bistrot. Absolutely amazing. We both loved it, it was so great. Beautiful french food and sexy waiters mm... Very nice. Then we went to the casino for a few drinks in the lounge bar, I felt really bad because I'm on a short week financially due to going on holidays next weekend interstate, so I didn't want to spend too much money, but Emma insisted on plying me with cockatails all night, I was quite drunk by the time I stumbled home. Good times though, can't wait to go back to that restaurant <3

Anyway, just looking forward to a relaxing rest of the weekend, had to work this afternoon (on a saturday!) but I have the whole day off tomorrow.

I'm getting really annoyed with ffxi atm, am trying to do Beseiged and it keeps freezeing the game on me to the point where I have to shut down and log back on... Potentially losing all my work in beseiged, unless I can stay in there long enough to build up the points again... Crossing fingers. I turned off WMP incase that is whats glitching it.

Anyways... hoping to bring you all a quicker update next time so that I will actually remember what it is we have been up to.
